I recently stayed at Glasfryn Cottage and had a wonderful time exploring the town. The house itself is beautifully decorated and the facilities are top-notch. The showers and bathroom appointments are excellent, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The cottage was spotlessly clean and fresh, and I really appreciated the welcome pack of wine, cakes, and milk in the fridge. Additionally, the location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk to the town center where you can find shops, pubs, and restaurants. The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
I can definitely recommend this hotel.

The cottage had free WiFi, perfect for my constant need to be connected. I enjoyed hiking nearby, although I never made it to the airport or Slate Caverns. Barmouth was just a short drive away, but I didn't go, I mean, who needs beautiful beaches anyway?
Oh, I absolutely loved not having direct access to the garden and having to walk my dog through the neighbor's mess. It's such a lovely touch to the overall experience.

I stayed at Glasfryn Cottage for a weekend getaway with my family. The house is beautifully decorated and the facilities are top-notch. The showers and bathroom appointments were excellent. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, and everything was very clean and fresh. We were delighted to find a welcome pack with wine, cakes, and milk in the fridge. The location is great, just a few minutes walk to the town center where you can find shops, pubs, and restaurants. Additionally, the cottage had two bathrooms, and the attic conversion provided a separate floor for the kids, which was a pleasant surprise.
Can just recommend this hotel.

The apartment at Glasfryn Cottage Dolgellau is cozy and perfect for a family like ours. The bedrooms are comfortable, and we love having a kitchen with a microwave and fridge to prepare meals. The flat-screen TV and seating area are great for relaxing after a day of exploring. Plus, having two bathrooms with showers is a major convenience!
Personally, we found the lack of a dishwasher in the kitchen a bit inconvenient. But hey, some people might not mind doing dishes by hand!

I absolutely loved the beautiful decoration of the house. It had a lovely, cozy feel to it which made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-kept and clean, making it easy for me to move around and navigate. As a senior woman, I also appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible, with no stairs or obstacles in my way.
I would have preferred if there were more assistance provided by the children working there for senior people like me.

I absolutely loved the charming and cozy decor of the cottage. It felt like a home away from home. The general areas were well-maintained and inviting for senior guests like me. The accessibility for older people was impressive, with everything conveniently located and easily reachable.
I would have appreciated if the children working there were a bit more attentive to the needs of senior guests. A little extra assistance and care would have made our vacation even better.
